Edelbrock E-Series Cylinder Head Bolt Kit #85492 is designed for use on Pontiac 326-455 engines with Edelbrock Performer and Performer RPM Cylinder Heads #60569-#60599 and #60509 manufactured after 3/12/02. Note that Edelbrock Cylinder Heads for the Pontiac 389-455 engine require a special head bolt. The head bolt boss heights have been changed in the Pontiac cylinder head to eliminate problems with cracking at the upper head bolt boss end for high-output applications. The new head bolt boss height also simplifies the head bolt kit by requiring only three different lengths instead of six different lengths in the previous head bolt kit. E-Series bolts have a yield tensile strength of 190,000 PSI for strong and reliable loading. Bolt threads are rolled after heat-treating for superior form and strength, while a small hex head provides extra space for socket clearance in tight situations. E-Series Cylinder Head Bolts have a durable black oxide finish with sealer and come with the distinctive Edelbrock “E” stamped into the head.

Our Aluminum Foundries are located close by in San Jacinto. This investment in American facilities is part of our commitment to "Made in USA" products and performance.
Edelbrock products start with an original thought or idea that then has to be translated into a working model. Our R&D staff is not only well qualified at their respective positions, but they're also automotive enthusiasts. Why is being an enthusiast so important? Because an enthusiast does more than work in the automotive aftermarket, they live it - and it's at that point where understanding the inner workings of a supercharger, or an engine, EFI system becomes second nature. They are constantly thinking of new and innovative ways of making a product that works better.
Edelbrock products offer improved performance and aesthetics for a broad array of vehicles and engines. 'Proven performance' is the philosophy by which Edelbrock was founded and it continues to this day with the highest standards for performance and quality. Edelbrock core products are engineered, manufactured, and tested in the USA to ensure the best quality possible. This is further backed by some of the best warranties in the industry and a highly qualified technical support staff.
